At Marketplace Software we understand that every time you have to write or type your contact's information on a form, letter, invoice or any correspondence is an opportunity to make a mistake. That is why e-manage helps your users enter the right information the first time with a company lookup window, you supply the company name, city and state and are returned the legal name from the phone book, address and phone number that can easily be copied and pasted into the entry window.  Once a contact is in the system, it is instantly available to all authorized users and is re-used for the entire lifetime of the relationship.

e-manage provides your staff with highly developed and market tested project management tools from opportunity tracking to job costing and commissions and everything in between.  By tracking employee cost of time spent performing initial tasks such as estimating, drawing or site surveys, you will finally know how the cost of projects that did not convert to jobs figure in to your company's overall financial health.  No other software, at this price, can offer you the level of detail e-manage version 6 offers.

Service Contracts, Serviceable Items, and Service Tickets Management

Did you know that your service department could be the most profitable area of your business?  Most companies don't and miss out on the "insurance" money when few claims are made.  Most companies find it too difficult to track the number of agreements coming up for renewal or that need an initial proposal. e-manage changes all that with a comprehensive Service Module.



In keeping with the e-manage business model, once a job is installed or shipped a serviceable item is created using the information from the project to eliminate any double entry.  pricing templates can be pre-formatted for individual product types from different vendors to charge a certain amount per piece along with the manufacturer's labor and parts warranty end dates auto-populating.  The Serviceable item reuses the contacts associated with the job that is spawning it.  The serviceable item is then attached either to an existing agreement with the customer, or a new agreement.  This agreement has a first proposal date field allowing you to track exactly the agreements you should be sending out before it becomes too late to capture that contract.

Many areas of the e-manage service module are either automated or pre-filled by project data.  Contacts can be associated with agreements giving you one more way to find it.  Look up service records by any piece of information from the project it came from, even years later.  compile a list of non-renewable contracts after a few years and pitch it again.  The person that said no may not be there anymore

Human Resources

Our human resources package tracks all employees in your company regardless if they are user defined in e-manage.  Employees can use the barcode time clock for accurate time sheet entries, while installers out in the field can use a barcode sticker to confirm the fact that they were at the job(s) scheduled.  Processing of the payroll for installers using barcodes increases the accuracy level of your HR department as they are not trying to read handwriting, simply scanning a barcode an confirming hours worked. 

Employee records store the actual cost per hour for your hourly and salaried positions allowing e-manage to calculate the cost of work performed on jobs and projects that do not convert to jobs for a true viewing of the cost of doing business.

e-manage also keeps all documents about each employee stored against their record for review at any time without searching through a file, by scanning or attaching electronically.  All documents attached to employees have double safeguards to ensure that only the proper users see private information.

An important feature of e-manage HR is the employee review.  Reviews are setup for each employee at user defined intervals and are based on weighted goals set by employee/supervisor so each employee knows what is expected of them.  During the review period, supervisors add notes to the review at the specific goal level to remind them of issues (good or bad) that have come up.  At review time, supervisors fill in a percentage of the goal met and a raise can be automatically calculated based on percentage of goal reached with anything over 100% going into an optional auto calculated bonus field.
